SAN JOSE (KGO) -- VTA riders should expect big delays through Friday afternoon. The agency is repairing an overhead wire that was discovered damaged last night near the children's discovery museum station in San Jose.

"As soon as that happens we have to take the power down so we had some trains left out on the system uh which is actually helping out morning commute this morning," said Brandi Childress, VTA spokesperson.

Some of those trains had to be towed away. VTA has set up bus bridges to assist passengers operating between Alum Rock and Winchester.
