ANGEL ISLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- Angel Island will be closed next month for five days to repave the crumbling roads.
The island will be closed to visitors from Nov. 3 through Nov. 7.
There will be no ferries to the island, no tours, and all of the park's historic attractions will be closed.
But the island will remain open for people who can get there on private boats and kayaks.
The closure is due to a parks service repaving project that extends from the Ayala Cove boat dock area to the perimeter road.
