SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Bomb threats targeting five U.S. flights prompted a response from security officials across the country.

One of those flights landed at San Francisco International Airport safely on Tuesday.

Korean Airlines Flight 23 landed safely at San Francisco International Airport. It was one of five flights that was the target of a series of bomb threats.

Some passengers aboard said they hadn't heard anything about the threats during the flight.

Another passenger said he noticed something odd as he left the plane. "I saw some security out at the gate, wondering what that was about when I got off," he said. "Three guys looked like they were looking for something."

Homeland Security dog teams sniffed for explosives at the international terminal, but an airport spokesperson said this threat was not credible and did not affect on-flight operations.

The four other flights included in this threat included United Flight 995 from San Francisco to Chicago O'Hare, Delta Flight 55 from Los Angeles to Atlanta, Volaris Flight 939 from Portland to Guadalajara and U.S. Airways Flight 648 from San Diego to Philadelphia.

Authorities took that jet to a remote part of the airport and had passengers bussed to the terminal.

"Members of the Philadelphia police bomb squad and K9 teams, explosive detection K9 teams from the Philadelphia Police Airport Unit go through the plane, go through the luggage and just confirm that there was no hazards," Philadelphia Police Department Chief Inspector Joe Sullivan said.

This is the second time a series of bomb threats were made against U.S. flights in the last seven days.

Last week, an Air France plane was inspected after it was escorted into John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York by fighter jets.

An untraceable caller said there were chemical weapons aboard, but none were found.
