SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Boxing legend Manny Pacquiao will be throwing more than punches when he steps on the field at AT&T Park Friday night.

The welterweight champ and boxer Chris Algieri came to San Francisco to promote their upcoming match.

Both fighters put on San Francisco Giants jerseys while taking questions from fans and the media. They will both throw out the ceremonial first pitch before the game.

Their fight will be in Macau, China in November.

"The fans in Vegas are different. They know boxing well, but in Asia we are just starting to promote boxing there. And then the people there really want to know boxing," said Pacquiao.

Pacquiao will be training for the fight while he also plays pro-basketball for a team he owns in the Philippines.

His trainer says he will force the champ to quit playing hoops a month before the fight.
