SAN FRANCISCO -- Investigators say iPhone smugglers are making it harder for people to purchase a brand new iPhone.
Police say people are getting into fights outside Apple stores around the country.
Some people are third party sellers trying snap up as many phones as possible to sell on the black market in China where they have yet to go on sale.
Street vendors in Beijing are reportedly selling the iPhone 6 for more than $1,400 dollars, seven times what it costs in the United States. A 6+ recently sold for more than $3,200, that's 987 percent over the list price.
