Ariz. rescuers help people trapped by monsoon fueled floods

Monsoon rains pounded parts of Arizona this week and submerged some neighborhoods, drenching it with an inch of rain within just a few minutes.

Rescue crews helped people trapped inside their homes by the flood waters.

More than four inches of rain pummeled some areas of the state within 24 hours closing roads and causing flight delays out of Phoenix.

Meteorologists say the heaviest of the storms has passed so residents can expect some relief Tuesday.
