BART train hits tree on tracks near Concord during storm

CONCORD, Calif. (KGO) -- BART commuters in Contra Costa County felt the effects of the storm when a tree fell onto the tracks near Concord-then a train hit it.

There were no injuries, and no damage to the train or tracks.

Trains had to single-track through the area for a short time while crews cleaned the debris.
