An area of low pressure off the coast will supply parts of the region with light, scattered showers throughout the next 24 hours. Tonight, expect increasing clouds across the Bay Area. Light showers will begin developing in the North Bay after sunset. Overnight, showers will slowly move south into San Francisco and the East Bay. By sunrise, some of our area roadways will be damp with on and off light showers continuing through the morning commute. Showers will taper midday and the afternoon will feature a return to sunnier skies and we begin to dry out. Generally, we are expecting less than .1" of rain once the system exits.
