Flooded Bay Area residents fear more rain
After the two recent rounds of flooding, residents are bracing for the next storm that could flood them again.

MILLBRAE, Calif. (KGO) -- Compared to that big storm we had last week, our rain this week may not seem all that impressive, but people who got too much rain too quickly and are now dealing with flooding, are understandably worried about every drop.

For business owners on the peninsula who've already suffered flooding twice, in as many weeks, every drop can be dangerous.

Sasha Lozano Rodriguez from Sasha's Beauty Salon said, "When it rains, we get worried."

Her San Mateo salon, at Railroad and 9th avenues, is surrounded by sandbags. They helped somewhat during Tuesday's downpour.

"We look out and it's like a lake outside and the storm drain, we can't even see it," Lozano Rodriguez. "If you would put a towel down or something it would be swimming because that's how high it was starting to raise inside."

That's not the case now and the brief break gave San Mateo firefighters a chance to take old Saint Nick door to door to deliver toys for tots.

There were also a few reports of car accidents on the peninsula. There was a rollover on I-280 in Palo Alto, a three car crash on eastbound I-92 at Hillsdale. So remember to slow down and be careful driving in these conditions.
