Light showers moved through some parts of our region leaving wet pavement and water drops on windshields. It also brought lightning strikes Thursday evening.

"The interesting thing is the monsoon, what we normally see in Arizona this time of year has shifted westward so we're getting lots of humidity," said ABC7 News Meteorologist Mike Nicco.

The humidity made a routine concrete job difficult for one crew in San Francisco.

"It takes longer for the concrete to dry in this weird weather," said one construction worker.

And talk about a bad hair day, it's been a bad hair week for many. ABC7 News spoke to clients at Head Spa, a blow dry salon.

"My hair is frizzing out and getting big, I need help with products to combat the humidity," said Head Spa manager, Camie Libasci.
