PHOTOS: "Supermoon" lights up Northern Hemisphere

For the second time in two months a "supermoon" graced the night sky.

The "supermoon" happens at the point in the moon's orbit when it's closest to earth - so it looks bigger. You'll have one more chance to see the phenomenon this year -- on September 9.
