ANTIOCH, Calif. (KGO) -- Golfers are getting in their last play at a popular East Bay golf course.
After 16 years, Roddy Ranch Golf Club in Antioch announced it's out of luck, out of money and must close for good.
The biggest issue is water. They paid $600,000 a year to irrigate, which is tough in a time of drought.
There's no word yet on what will happen to Roddy Ranch after the gate closes and the rest of the course goes to seed.
One certainty is that a lot of golfers who called this place home are going to feel lost for a while.
