SAN RAFAEL, Calif. (KGO) -- The North Bay has been facing steady rain Friday night.

But as the rain came down in San Rafael, people outside Sol Food didn't seem to mind.

"Gosh no! They have an awning, so that works out well," said Romario Conrado of San Rafael.

And there is a lot more on the way. The heaviest rain is expected Saturday night.

Southern Marin Fire District spent most of Friday doing community outreach.

"The concern with the wind is trees down and wires down," said Battalion Chief Matt Barnes, with the Southern Marin Fire Protection District.

Firefighters added caution tape around a tree on North Knoll Road in Mill Valley.

With the trunk split so high up, they'll need a bucket truck to cut it.

It's a scene they expect could repeat itself this weekend.
