Body found in London may be trader from San Francisco

LONDON (KGO) -- An autopsy is being conducted in London on the body of a man who may be a missing San Francisco trader who traveled overseas for a job interview.

Josh Sanchez-Maldonado vanished after he arrived in London on a flight from Japan on Oct. 21. Authorities say the 24-year-old was scheduled to fly to San Francisco from Heathrow Airport in London the same day he went missing, but did not board the flight.

According to police, Sanchez-Maldonado's father last spoke to his son on Oct. 21 and that the trip was Sanchez-Maldonado's first time traveling alone outside of the U.S.

The body was found near some train tracks in London.

The 24-year-old's parents are in London awaiting the results of the autopsy.
