SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Bay Area cities rank at or near the top in a lot of impressive lists, but the latest one is nothing to brag about.

A self-described infotainment Website called Road Snacks, ranks San Francisco as the snobbiest city in America, with Berkeley ranked second, and Santa Clara ninth.

The site based the rankings on several factors, including per capita income, the number of private schools, art galleries and Whole Foods stores.

Road Snacks editors did say, though "if they had the money and knowledge of the residents in these cities, they'd probably be a little snobby, too."
