Crews administer CPR to cat pulled from burning New York home

QUEENS, N.Y. -- Police say a cat was rescued from a residential fire on 88th Street in Queens, New York.

Emergency responders gave CPR to the cat they pulled from a burning two story home in Forest Park, Queens, just after 10:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

Three cats in all were taken from the 88th Street fire to Blue Pearl veterinary hospital, where one died. The other two survived, including the rescued black and white tabby.

One person suffered minor injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
