ALAMEDA COUNTY, Calif. (KGO) -- A sick East Bay dog needs your help. "Poe" is a pit bull recently found on the streets of Alameda severely injured.

The vet determined he was not hit by a car, but has nerve damage and is partially paralyzed.

To complete the diagnosis, he needs an MRI that costs more than $2,000.

The Alameda Animal Shelter is asking for donations to help Poe get healthy again and eventually find him a home.
