Oakland police investigating Friday night fatal shooting

OAKLAND, Calif. -- Police are investigating a shooting that killed one person Friday night in East Oakland.

Around 10:30 p.m. the victim, a male, was shot and killed in the 1300 block of 71st Avenue, according to Officer James Moore.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, Moore said.

No arrests have been made as of Saturday morning, according to Moore.
