ORLANDO, FL (KGO) -- Federal investigators are trying to determine who purchased plane tickets for the Orlando shooter and his family to fly to San Francisco.

ABC News reports that someone bought airline tickets for the shooter, his wife and their son one day before the massacre. The tickets were for a flight to the Bay Area next month to visit the wife's family in Rodeo.

US Attorney General Loretta Lynch says the Justice Department is trying to determine whether more could have been done to prevent the attacks.
