New video shows him making the registration Tuesday morning. He had five days to report to the sheriff in his home state, which is two hours east of Indianapolis.

He's complied with that mandate.

The process took about 30 minutes and his parents were there with him.

Turner was released from the Santa Clara County Jail Friday after serving less than half of his six-month sentence.

He was convicted of the sexual assault of an unconscious woman.

Turner also has three years' probation, during which he'll undergo sex offender treatment.

He was arrested in January 2015 and initially faced 14 years in jail. His short sentence has been criticized and has garnered national attention, including calls to remove Judge Persky, the man who presided over his case.
