Saratoga police investigating officer-involved shooting

SARATOGA, Calif. (KGO) -- Officials are investigating an officer-involved shooting on Titus Avenue in Saratoga this evening.

The Santa Clara County Office of the Sheriff released a statement saying: "I can confirm there has been a sheriff's deputy involved in a shooting and that standard protocols following these types of incidents are being followed. These types of incidents demonstrate how inherently dangerous the jobs of our deputies are and when we have additional information that we are able to release, we will."
