PARIS (KGO) -- Paris police are pledging to do everything possible to find the robbers who held Kim Kardashian West at gunpoint in her apartment, and got away with millions of dollars in jewelry.

Right now, the reality TV star is back in the states. Her husband, Kanye West, picked her up on Monday morning at a corporate airport in New Jersey. They headed back to their New York City apartment, flanked by an army of security guards and a 15 car motorcade.

Police are now combing through Kim Kardashian West's Parisian residence where she was reportedly held up by five masked men at gunpoint.

A source told ABC News that the reality TV mega star was tied up and locked in her bathroom, and the thieves stole $10 million worth of jewelry.

Kardashian West was there for Paris Fashion Week. Her husband stopped a show mid-performance when he heard the news.

"I'm sorry. There has been a family emergency. I have to stop the show, " said Kanye from the stage.

One of the jewelry pieces stolen was reportedly Kardashian West's $4.5 million engagement ring, she received in 2013 at AT&T Park.

CNN reports the masked intruders threatened the concierge to get into Kardashian West's apartment. Her representative told ABC News, "She is badly shaken, but physically unharmed."

Her sister Kendall Jenner was spotted leaving the crime scene with police protection. Then, hours later, Kardashian West was seen leaving Paris altogether. New video shows her black SUV fleet leaving the posh residence and photos show her boarding a plane back to the U.S.

Family members have started arriving at the couple's New York apartment to show support. It is unclear if they will return to California, but one thing is clear: the family was silent on social media Monday morning. Odd, for one of the most exposed families in the world.
