SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- With Election Day just 15 days away, a Bay Area businesswoman is asking other women to not only flex their muscles at the ballot box, but use their consumer power.

Shannon Coulter was angered by Donald Trump's talking about grabbing women so she's launched a campaign called Grab Your Wallet. It targets Trump's daughter Ivanka by calling for a boycott of her clothing line - and the retailers who sell it.

"We all admire and respect her despite her political affiliation But after the Trump tapes came out, and she went back on the campaign trail, that was the straw that broke the camel's back," said Coulter.

Ivanka Trump has issued a statement saying "My father's comments were clearly inappropriate and offensive." But that's not enough for critics, like Kathy Rott who says she won't buy her products.

"Yeah, I don't feel so good about the Trump family right now," she said.

Ivanka Trump's merchandise can be found at store like Macy's, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and Bloomingdales.

According to Forbes magazine, her line generated $100 million dollars just last year.

Many shoppers say a boycott is misguided. "I don't think it's fair because Donald Trump is separate," said one San Francisco shopper.

"The daughter's father running for the presidential election, should not affect the kids," said another shopper.

But coulter's campaign clearly resonates. More than two million viewed her twitter post.
