The price for a pair the same pair of eyeglasses in San Francisco Bay Area stores can vary by hundreds of dollars, according to a new report.

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- The price for a pair the same pair of eyeglasses in Bay Area stores can vary by hundreds of dollars, according to a new report.

Outlets like Lenscrafters, Pearl Vision, and Target Optical are all owned by a single company called Luxotica, which is based in Italy.

That can make it hard to shop for a better price, but not impossible.
