San Jose high school students watch as 3D objects get printed in space
Students at San Jose's Valley Christian watched as objects they designed were printed by a 3D printer on the International Space Station.

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- Valley Christian School in San Jose was the first high school to send an experiment to the International Space Station, and they made space history again Tuesday.

The students watched wide-eyed as 3D objects they designed were printed in space after meeting NASA's strict standards.

Astronauts on the space station slept as the objects were printed.
