SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Suzy Loftus, the President of the San Francisco Police Commission stepped down Tuesday.
Loftus resigned her position to take a job with the Sheriff's Department later this month as the assistant chief legal counsel with a salary of $190,242 annually.
She had led the commission for over two years as President. She was appointed to the commission by San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee in 2012.
