SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Three men accused of beating a Lyft driver on a freeway in San Francisco in March were arrested Wednesday, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Officers arrested 33-year-old Derwayne A. Johnson, 25-year-old Gabriel Rodriguez, and 19-year-old Jarrell E. Williams Jr. during simultaneous searches of four San Francisco homes.

Officers had been looking for suspects for months. The CHP posted video and photos Friday on their Facebook page showing their arrests.

Lyft driver, 35 year old Alex Quintana described the experience to ABC7.

"They were all hitting and kicking from everywhere," Quintana said.

Quintana described a nasty encounter near the Cesar Chavez exit with the bikers trying to run him off the road, then surrounding him, damaging his car and then beating him up.

"He looked me right in the eye and ran over my leg. I was thinking about my kid," Quintana said.

The father had severe injuries - a broken nose and a shattered leg.

On social media the CHP thanked the public for providing tips, and the victim for being patient.
