San Francisco roads begin to close ahead of LGBT Pride Celebration
San Francisco city workers have begun putting up barricades for the road closures that will happen over the weekend during the 47th Annual San Francisco LGBT Pride Celebration and Parade.

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Street closures have already started in San Francisco ahead of Pride celebrations this weekend.

Thursday morning barricades and fences were put up on Fulton between Hyde and Larkin. Barricades were also put up on Grove between Polk and Larkin, right around City Hall.

The 47th Annual Pride Celebration and Parade takes place this Saturday and Sunday.

The Pride celebration at Civic Center Plaza is from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

The parade begins at 10:30 a.m. Sunday and runs along Market Street from Beale to 8th Streets.
