The National Weather Service says the Las Vegas Strip received a record amount of rainfall Friday.

LAS VEGAS (KGO) -- The National Weather Service says the Las Vegas Strip received a record amount of rainfall Friday.

Firefighters rescued six people from the rushing waters behind the Linq Hotel and Casino, which is across the street from Caesar's Palace.

Another person is missing after being swept away in a different part of Vegas. One witness says a taxi at the Linq was pushed for 200 feet by the flood waters.
