Contra Costa County sheriff's deputies are responding to a pipe bomb reported in unincorporated Danville Tuesday morning.

Sheriff's officials wrote on Twitter shortly before 11:25 a.m. about a "pipe bomb incident" that has prompted the closure of Lusitano Street between Camino Tassajara and Cashmere Street.

No other information about the case was immediately available from the sheriff's office.
