SAUSALITO, Calif. (KGO) -- Strong wind across the Bay Area kept the U.S. Coast Guard and emergency officials busy.
The wind and high waves caused a boat in Sausalito's Richardson marina to flip on its side.
Water rushed onto the vessel as rescue workers kept busy pulling boaters from the choppy water.
"We rescued multiple people and addressed many vessels that were adrift, bringing people to safety," said South Marin Fire District Battalion Chief Mike Martinez.
