2.8 magnitude earthquake strikes near Oakland, USGS says
According to the USGS, a 2.8 magnitude earthquake struck east of Oakland.

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- According to the USGS, around 10:41 PM a 2.8 magnitude earthquake struck east of Oakland.

At last check, the USGS reports hundreds are saying they felt the quake.

No reports of damage or injury as a result of the quake.
