Bowling alley, bar shooting suspect arrested in Cupertino

CUPERTINO, Calif. (KGO) -- In the South Bay deputies arrested a suspect after a shooting at a bar and bowling alley in Cupertino.

Santa Clara County Sheriff's deputies were called to Homestead Bowl and the X Bar around 10:30 p.m. Friday.

Witnesses say a fight broke out at a party for a local rapper then gunshots began.

"I ran through the hallway of the bowling alley. I was ducking underneath the place where they stage the balls and I went to go into the girl's bathroom when I heard gunshots on the other side of the lockers," said Jasmine Kochan, a witness.

Deputies say one person was shot in the leg.

They arrested a suspect in connection with the shooting and found two guns at the scene.

Police are now asking anyone with video or information about the incident to contact authorities.
