Man delivers baby on Christmas day after wife goes into labor before due date

It was a Christmas surprise for one Massachusetts woman after she woke up in labor on Christmas, which was a week before her due date.

JaLisa Simmons said she started having contractions on Christmas morning. Because it was snowing, her husband decided not to risk driving to the hospital and called 911 instead.

With help from the operator, he delivered his daughter before first responders could arrive. "By the time I had got out to the ambulance, it was snow falling everywhere. It was just a beautiful moment, something that I will never forget.The best Christmas present anybody could ever ask for," JaLisa said.

The couple named their baby girl, Harlem.
