Part of High Street in Alameda remains closed due to water main break

ALAMEDA, Calif. -- Police in Alameda this morning are reporting High Street at Otis Drive will likely remain closed most of today due to a water main break that occurred Thursday.

Police issued an advisory on Thursday at 3:59 p.m. about the main break that closed High Street from Otis Drive to Calhoun Street.

Police are asking residents to avoid the area to help limit traffic conditions.
