Missing Oakland boy found safe

OAKLAND, Calif. -- A 12-year-old boy who was reported missing out of Oakland since Friday evening has been found, police said today.

Davaun McNeal was last seen at his home in the 2100 block of 99th Avenue around 5 p.m. Friday, police said.

He was a runaway and considered at-risk because of his age, police said.

He was found safe as of 3:08 p.m. today, according to police.
