A quite change has been underway at some fast-food chains in an effort to make the food healthier.

Taco Bell's menu is packing 15 percent less salt on average since 2009 according to USA Today.

It's part of a campaign by Taco Bell's parent company to make menu items at Taco Bell, Pizza Hut and KFC follow recommended meal limits for salt, sugar and fats.

But the company's keeping it quiet so people may be less likely to notice a difference in the taste.
