SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- Facebook may have to reimburse you if your kids spent money on the site that you didn't approve.

A San Jose judge has ruled a class action lawsuit against the Menlo Park based social media giant can move forward.

Plaintiffs now expect hundreds of thousands of people to join. They say Facebook is being uncooperative by not issuing refunds already.

Facebook says the case has no merit.

A similar case last December saw Google forking over at least $19 million to consumers.
