BELLINGHAM, Wash. (KGO) -- Video captured on a Washington family's nanny camera is a vivid reminder about the importance of home maintenance.

The video shows the boiler blowing up in the basement of a home in Bellingham, 90 miles north of Seattle.

The blast was so strong the house bounced off its foundation and split in half.

Fortunately, no one inside was hurt. That includes a newborn sleeping nearby.

Fire officials say heating and cooling appliances should be inspected regularly.
