Antioch police arrest man in attempted abduction

ANTIOCH, Calif. (KGO) -- Authorities in Antioch have arrested a man for trying to kidnap a teenager on her way to school.

The girl told investigators a man in a car offered her a ride on Lone Tree Way as she was walking to Deer Valley High School yesterday morning. He got out and tried to grab her when she refused. Police made the arrest after a second student came forward to say something similar happened to her, earlier this month.
