Town hall on COVID-19 in African American community
Sen. Kamala Harris participated in a town hall on the impact of COVID-19 on the African American community.

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Biden for President held a virtual town hall with Senator Kamala Harris Monday on the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on communities of color.

The town hall included Congresswoman Marcia Fudge, and Bishop Vashti McKenzie, Dr. Oliver Brooks, and was moderated by Biden Campaign Senior Advisor Symone Sanders.

Joe Biden says that there should be free testing and treatment for everyone, regardless of race, according to Harris. And data needs to be gathered so we get a clearer picture of the COVID-19 racial disparity in communities of color.

Harris showed her support for Biden's plans to help these communities.
