Fire crews contained a 12-acre brush fire burning in Solano County Saturday afternoon. The fire was northeast of Benicia near Grizzly Bay.

BENICIA, Calif. (KGO) -- Fire crews contained a 12-acre brush fire burning in Solano County Saturday afternoon. The fire was reported just before 3p.m. northeast of Benicia near Grizzly Bay.

Smoke and flames jumped across Interstate 680 causing traffic to slow for nearly an hour.

CAL Fire reported that aircraft had to be grounded temporarily because of a drone flying in the area.

The California Highway Patrol ordered evacuations for people living on Oakridge lane - those have been lifted.

Crews will stay to monitor hot spots for the next few hours.
