Sunnyvale police searching for child allegedly abducted

SUNNYVALE, Calif. (KGO) -- Police are searching for a young child who was allegedly abducted by his mother from a home on San Aleso Avenue in Sunnyvale Sunday afternoon.

Police say the suspect, Christina Rodriguez, was seen driving away with the child in a red Cadillac sedan with no license plates at 3:40 p.m.

Trinian Gonzalez is 18 months old and last seen wearing a white onesie with a cast on his left leg.

Police say they're concerned about the health of the boy because he needs medication, but wouldn't say what kind.

Anyone who sees a vehicle matching this description is asked to call 911.
