1 person dies in 2-alarm fire at Union City apartment building

UNION CITY, Calif. (KGO) -- Officials say one person has died after a two-alarm fire broke out at apartment building in Union City this afternoon.

The fire broke out at a carport next to the apartment building on Alvarado-Niles Road and Hartnell Street at 4:25 p.m. That is one block away from James Logan High School.
