Five bodies found inside Modesto home

MODESTO, Calif. -- Officials are investigating after five bodies were found inside a home on Nob Hill Court in Modesto on Saturday.

Officers responding to a request to conduct a welfare check on the home, in a residential neighborhood in Modesto, discovered the bodies in the afternoon, police spokeswoman Heather Graves said.

She had no immediate information on the victims and circumstances of the deaths.

Detectives were processing the crime scene.

Modesto is located in the state's Central Valley.
