LONDON (KGO) -- Queen Elizabeth II will be making history on Wednesday. At exactly 5:30 in the afternoon, she will become Britain's longest serving monarch.

She'll break Queen Victoria's record of 63 years, seven months and two days on the throne.

Queen Elizabeth is the nation's 40th monarch and only the sixth queen since William the Conqueror took the crown more than 1,000 years ago.
