MONTECITO, Calif. (KGO) -- Southern California's first major winter storm triggered flooding and mudflows that forced the closure of Highway 101 Freeway in the Thomas Fire burn area.

Fire officials in Montecito tweeted two photos of Highway 101 flooded out.
