SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- ABC7 News Anchor Dan Ashley represented the station and Disney at a ceremony to present a $15,000 check to the Alameda County Community Food Bank in Oakland. He spoke with Executive Director Suzan Bateson.
Ashley: "The need is great all year long, but certainly during the holidays, it's particularly slow, isn't it?"

Bateson: "We want everybody to have the kind of holiday that you family and my family are going to have. This will help us a lot, not only for the holidays, but into the new year."
And $15,000 will buy enough food for 36,000 meals. So the donations you make, can go a long way in feeding others.
