Apple kicks off Worldwide Developers Conference 2020

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Apple CEO Tim Cook kicked off the Worldwide Developers Conference by discussing racial justice and the Black Lives Matter movement.

This year's conference was virtual-only and included the launch of iOS 14 and its home-screen redesign and features.

Apple said iOS14 will offer improvements for cyclists. The Apple Maps feature will include directions, routing by bike lanes, elevation display, and quiet or busy road options.
