SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- If you drive across any of the Bay Area bridges, you'll want to hear this. Bridge tolls could be going up as much as $3.
According to the Marin Independent Journal, the Metropolitan Transportation Commission wants to boost revenues to fund several projects. It would include all bridges except the Golden Gate.

Officials estimate a $3 toll hike would bring in $381 million annually. The idea is still in its very early stages but they hope to get in front of lawmakers soon.
At a meeting in San Francisco on Wednesday, Mayor Libby Schaaf said the money would be better spent on affordable housing.
